Baldwin City was busy on Independence Day with fireworks, flags and a free swimming pool.

The Baldwin City Municipal Pool attracted more than 400 people between the hours of noon and 4 p.m. on the Fourth of July. There was also more than 700 hot dogs given away to all of the free guests.
